NEA's Read Across America 2011 kicked off at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC with special guest reader, First Lady Michelle Obama. Other guest readers included celebrities Jessica Alba, Bridget Moynahan, Mehcad Brooks, Camila Alves, Green Bay Packer Donald Driver and many others. Over 300 local public school children joined in the day celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday and highlighting the importance of reading.
