SchoolTube.com launched their new site design September 4, 2007. The new design creates a theme, present throughout the entire site.

"Everyone that's seen the new site has been very impressed.", said Erin, a SchoolTube content manager. "The new site helped streamline the site's navigation, and made the site, as a whole, much easier to use."

When asked about the new navigation details, Erin offered a quick tour of the site. "Let's start on the Home page. You'll notice all the links on the left navigation, "Video Guide", are categories of videos. Once you click on a category page, you will see several sub-categories show up underneath. These sub-categories help further define the videos under that heading."

"On a category page itself, you'll see all the videos found in that category. On the right of each category page you may see a box called "Get Tuned In" (containing articles or links to additional associated content), polls, and rss feeds."

"While you are on the site, you'll also want to check out the Contests page and the Resources page. On the Contests page you'll find information on all of our latest contests and how to enter. The Resources page is really more for the teachers. There you will find web resources for the classroom, lesson plans, and a tips forum."
