RTNDF is linking with the Student Television
Network and SchoolTube to present a national Five Freedoms Public
Service Announcement Contest.
We’re looking for dynamic, inspirational public
service announcements (PSAs), 15 or 30 seconds long, that show how
using the First Amendment’s Five Freedoms enriches our lives – or how
not using them can stifle our Constitutional rights.
A $1,000 Grand Prize will be given to both the :30
and :15 winners. Deadlines, rules, guidelines, and directions on how to
upload your entry will be posted soon.
You don’t have to wait until the contest ends to win a prize... Early Entry prizes and Favorite PSA prizes (based on viewers’ ratings on SchoolTube.com) will be given starting in October. So make sure you and your students register on SchoolTube so you can upload your entry and vote today!
Remember, all high schools are eligible to participate – you do not need to be an STN affiliate school.
Finalists will be shown on Channel One during
Sunshine Week in mid March and on SchoolTube.com after the winners have
been selected.
The Five Freedoms Contest is funded by a generous grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
