The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is a US education association that works to advance career and technical education, formerly known as vocational education, to prepare youth and adults for careers. Career and technical education includes construction tech, engineering, robotics, IT, automotive tech, hospitality and tourism, business, health care and more.

ACTE works to increase public awareness and appreciation for career and technical programs and to assure growth in local, state and federal funding.

ACTE also provides professional development to its members, which include more than 28,000 secondary and middle school teachers and administrators; postsecondary instructors, faculty, administrators and deans; teacher educators; guidance professionals; and state government education professionals.

Our videos mostly come from presentations delivered at our conferences and events and from the student-produced video PSA contest we sponsor. We also have a video on how to effectively lobby with your legislator for CTE.
