Kentucky School for the Deaf's summer elementary & middle school enrichment program uses the "theme" concept to learning. this year we focused on improving literacy, among other skills, while making the news. Students worked on graphic arts to create a logo and select a name for their TV news station. They did research, interviews and wrote stories to film their news segments. The stories are numbered in the order you should view them. These newscasts are accessible for all audiences.
