The first annual Ladue Education Foundation (LEF) Community Breakfast was held on September 5, 2007 at Ces & Judy’s in Frontenac. Thanks to the efforts of event co-chairs, Nancy Spewak and Dena Ladd, more than 220 parents, community members, state and local government officials, district faculty and staff enjoyed a special celebration in support of our schools. Dr. David Benson, Ladue Schools superintendent, was the keynote speaker at this inaugural event where he shared highlights of student achievement and plans for facility enhancements. This special event raised nearly $20,000 for LEF thanks in large part to our wonderful sponsors!
