Roosevelt Alexander Elementary (RAE) Special Buddies was founded by Monica McDivitt in 2007. Monica's daughter, Sam, was born with multiple disabilities and attends 2nd grade at RAE. The program's vision is to create an environment where all children are valued and belong. RAE Special Buddies recently rallied to end the R-Word, using resources provided by Special Olympics.
