Hold a marble about 2 feet off the ground and drop it. It falls pretty fast, doesn't it? How could you get the marble to the ground as slowly as possible? Here's your engineering challenge: Design and build a pathway for the marble to move on. Put in at least two obstacles to slow down the marble.
