McGilligan-Bentin learns the exciting news from State Superintendent Tony Evers during a surprise ceremony at Marquette Elementary School in Madison on September 4, 2009. As part of the honor, McGilligan-Bentin will receive a $3,000 award from U.S. Senator Herb Kohl, through his educational foundation.
