On Wednesday, October 14th, all Katy High School 10th and 11th graders will participate in taking the PSAT/NMSQT. Katy High School is dedicated to helping our students be the most successful on the 2009 PSAT, which could lead to scholarship opportunities for high performing students. This week, all students, except our Miller Career Center students, will be involved in 30 minute PSAT preparation lessons during third period Monday, October 5th through Wednesday, October 7th. All 10th and 11th grade students have received a 2009 PSAT/NMSQT Official Student Guide and full-length practice test to be used in conjunction the PSAT preparation lessons. Lessons focus on the three different sections of the PSAT: critical reading, mathematics, and writing skills. Students will bring these practice test and study guides home Wednesday October 7th. Parents are encouraged to support their students by having them complete the full-length practice PSAT and Test-Taking Help Section of the Official Student Guide.
