Plans are underway for the 2009-2010 International Public Policy Forum (IPPF), a global debate competition that gives high school students the opportunity to participate in written and oral debates on issues of public policy. Sponsored by Bickel & Brewer and New York University, the IPPF is announcing major changes for the new year �?" more international teams, greater awards and prize money, and the opportunity for 8 teams to earn all-expenses-paid trips to the IPPF Finals Weekend in New York! Founded in 2001 by the Bickel & Brewer law firm, the IPPF was originally named the �?oNational Public Policy Forum.�?� The new name reflects the expanded scope of the competition, as more schools from around the globe choose to participate in the contest. Register your team today! The 2009-2010 competition begins in October.
