Galyn Wiemers demonstrates how do solder copper pipe and copper fittings for the Dallas Center-Grimes plumbing module to seventh graders. The class consists of 17 modules that include computer programing, CAD, injection molding, assembling a lawn mower engine, designing and cutting with a CNC mill and a CNC lathe, installing electrical wiring in a residential wall, assembling a DC motor, soldering the components into an electrical circuit and more.
