Basque dining has helped provide create a community among Basque Americans and has helped spread general awareness about Basque culture. Recently, efforts to bring more authentic Basque food to America has helped link Basque-Americans to their homeland. Rebecca Ansolabehere (NNHS 2011) presents her research along with some of the recipes she worked with in creating her own Basque-American cookbook, as part of her Senior Year Project.
