Dallas ISD is the first school district outside New York City to receive live performances direct from the Metropolitan Opera stage. This season the Metropolitan Opera will broadcast four world class performances free of charge to Dallas ISD students, 4th grade and above, and their immediate families, teachers and administrators. The performances will be broadcast live on four Saturdays throughout the school year on an incredible HD screen with surround sound in the Montgomery Theatre at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Each performance will last a few hours but will be an experience that Dallas ISD students will never forget. To see how these live performances are having an impact on Dallas ISD students, watch this video.
