Chester’s Way read by Vanessa Marano & Katie Leclerc

Chester’s Way is written and illustrated by Kevin Henkes and read/signed by Vanessa Marano and Katie Leclerc. There is only one way for Chester to do things—his own way. “You definitely have a mind of your own,” said Chester’s mother. “That’s one way to put it,” said Chester’s father. Luckily Chester’s best friend, Wilson, likes doing things just the same way as Chester. So all is well. That is, until Lilly moves into the neighborhood. Because Lilly, as we all know, has her own way of doing things!

Chester had his own way of doing things. Hello, my name is Jason. Are you always cut sandwiches diagonally? He always got out of bed on the same side. I never left the house without double, not just are always had the same thing. Tos jam. And I always carried in a miniature first thinking. Just in case they have a mind of your own, such gestures, mother. That’s one where devoted said gestures, father. Gestures. Best friend Nelson with exactly the same way. That’s why they were best friends. Chester wouldn’t play baseball and less Wilson. And they never saw that the first pitch or slit headfirst, Wilson would ride his bike and muscle. Chester want it to always use hand signals. If Chester was hungry, Wilson was due, but they rarely days. I can’t tell those two apart. I said Wilson smother. Me either. Said Wilson’s father, Chester and Wilson. Wilson ancestor. That’s the way I was. They love to go on picnics. Once. One will say, accidentally swallowed a watermelon seed, crying because he was afraid of watermelon plant would grow inside of him. Just as all in one too. Worried. Such ester. Now you grow watermelon plant grown, want to just turn it in as Christmas list every year and gave a copy to Wilson because they always want it. Anyway. For holiday. Always. Does. Salt and pepper shakers. To move on a string. Ham and eggs. Are, they really aren’t too high. Such hustlers, mother, looks like it said gestures, father. In spring, Chester and Wilson share the same umbrella. In winter. They never threw snowballs at each other. In fall, they ring leaves together. And in summer they reminded each other to wear sunscreen. So they went in for Chester and Wilson, Wilson ancestor way it was. And then literally moved into the neighborhood. Lily Lily had her own way of doing things. She more band aids lol over her arms and legs. Look brave. She talks backwards to herself sometimes, so no one would know what she was saying. Mom. And she never left the house without one of my nifty disguise. Lily waved at how the parser and if she didn’t know who was in that. And she always carried a loaded squirt gun in her mag. Definitely have a mind of her own. Manchester. That’s one way to put it. Said Wilson. When Lilly asked Chester and Wilson to play, they said they were. When she called them up on the phone. They disguise their voices and said they weren’t. If Lily was walking on one side of the street, Shuster and we’ll sit cross to the other and hit. Else. Such ester. Looks like said, Well, I wonder what Shuster and Wilson were practicing their hand signals. Some older boys road bike, pump and release the circle, Chesterton Wilson and personal. Manchester and Wilson didn’t know what to do. Just when they were about to give up hope. Fierce looking, horrible things. The older boys. Or you can just look at the camera applied. Such ester. Welcome Chester, Lily. Thank you, Louis said Wilson. Welcome. We also then Lily, SET chester. Would you add your score? Will always do. Emily, just inject. Afterward, Chester invited Lily over for lunch. You have a Muslim? Said Lilly, such faster than Lilly said well that Chester and Wilson kept their sandwiches diagonally. Lilly asked gestures, cookie headers, as she may say, Wilson, that 9 million line and gesture and Wilson is Lima. Second ester, of course, said lovely. Set chester say, Hey, you said well so gesture and Wilson wanted toast with Jane and peanut butter for breakfast the next morning. Chester, Whoa, said Wilson. After that, Lilly asked Chester and puts into play. When she caught him a pleasant conversation. Anti-malware Lee was walking in the street. Chester and Wilson waved and ran to catch up with her. Gesturing Wilson one hand signals. And she taught them how to pop lily, John, Chester, and Wilson, and how to talk downwards mall. And they taught her how to double check about spring apart. Families. May either said Lilly’s father, gesture and Wilson NADH Lily, lily and Wilson Manchester. That’s the way it was. Monoline. They dressed as very blind mice for Christmas. Hey, Chester and Wilson nifty because guys. And they gave her a box of multicolored shoelaces. Extra wealth for double. A lot to go on techniques. When Chester and he also felt that way about how they swallowed a watermelon seed. Once Lily swallowed three of them, grow watermelon lamp or she’s in spring. Just Wilson and Lily shared the same umbrella in winter and they never know when each other. In fall, neighboring leaves. And in summer they remind each other to wear sunscreen them so they wouldn’t burn. Chester, Lily, lily and adjuster, and then moved into the neighborhood. So Vanessa, What did you think? I think that Victor, Lily, Chester, and Wilson are going to have a great time growing watermelon plants inside of themselves. I agree. I think there are four of them will be good friends.
