2012 National Scholastic Press Association Broadcast Pacemaker and Broadcast Story of the Year Contests

Since 1927, the Pacemaker has been the highest honor NSPA gives to its members. Entries must be successfully uploaded to by June 19, 2012.

Dangers of Tanning

The New York State Department of Health invites 9th-12th grade students in all public and private high schools in New York State to participate in the Department’s first Video Contest on “The Dangers of Tanning”. The Department is sponsoring this contest to raise awareness about the dangers of tanning, the importance of sun safety and the growing incidence of skin cancer across the nation.

2012 CTE Month Video Public Service Announcement Contest

The goal of the 2012 CTE MonthTM Video Public Service Announcement Contest is to promote career and technical education by creating a video public service announcement (PSA) incorporating the 2012 CTE Month logo. ACTE will announce the winning PSA during its Annual Convention and Career Tech Expo, November 17-19, 2011, in St. Louis.

Taking The Lead Video Contest

AMLE, formerly known as NMSA, is accepting video submissions to be played at its 38th Annual Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, November 10-12, 2011. More than 7,000 educators from around the world will view the winning videos at the conference's general session. Winning videos will also be recognized on SchoolTube and in the AMLE Conference Program Book. Top 3 Winners will receive Best Buy Gift Cards for their classrooms as well as cool SchoolTube gear.
