Five ways to support people with disabilities
1. Be aware of personal space.
Don't touch, move or lean on mobility aids. Remember some people need more space to move.
2. Speak directly to the person.
Make eye contact and speak to people directly, even if their personal care attendant or interpreter is with them.
3. When setting meetings, check accessibility.

5. Remember a person with a disability is still a person.
