Netflix released a new tv series called "Julie and the Phantoms." Here are 5 fun facts about the show!

1. The actors all actually sing and play their designated instruments

-Madison plays piano

-Charlie plays guitar

-Jeremy plays bass

-Owen plays drums 

2. Co-stars Madison Reyes and Charlie Gillespie wrote a song for the show

Whenever they could find time, the actors met up in secret to write "Perfect Harmony" before presenting it to the director. 

3. Kenny Ortega directed both "Julie and the Phantoms" and "High School Musical"

Ortega is known for working with younger actors to produce musical movies and tv shows. He also directed "Descendants" and "Dirty Dancing."

4. Jeremy Shada, who plays Reggie, also voiced Finn from "Adventure Time"

Co-star Madison Reyes fangirled over him because she is a big fan of "Adventure Time." 

5. The cast hopes to eventually tour and play songs from the show

In order to do this, they need to be renewed for a season two, so they will have enough songs for a set.
