This lesson features the famous artist Claude Monet. In the video, students will be (1) introduced to Monet, (2) read a story about the artist, and (3) guided through a Monet-inspired art-making activity. Afterward, students are encouraged to make a Monet-inspired artwork of their own. For the art-making activity, students will need white paper, crayons, a watercolor paint set, and a cup or bowl filled half-way with water. Of course, I strongly encourage that students do not have their water cup or bowl next to any electronic device. I hope students enjoy this lesson while learning about the artist and art=making techniques of Claude Monet. Good luck!
