Lesson Objectives:

Procedure:


Introduction (10 minutes)


Begin the lesson by asking students what they think respect means.
Discuss their responses and provide a definition of respect.
Explain that National Respect for Parents Day is celebrated on August 1st, and it is a day dedicated to showing appreciation and respect towards parents.
Share the significance of respecting parents and how it contributes to strong family relationships.


Storytelling Activity (15 minutes)


Choose a story or fable that emphasizes the importance of respecting parents (e.g., "The Lion and the Mouse").
Read the story aloud or show a video adaptation of it.
Ask comprehension questions to ensure students understand the central message or lesson of the story.
