Objectives:
- Students will visit LA Zoo Lights with kids and gather information and experiences for their review.
- Students will write a review of their experience, supporting their opinions with reasons and information.
- Students will practice persuasive writing techniques and effectively communicating their thoughts and experiences.

Materials:
- Transportation arrangements to LA Zoo Lights
- Writing materials for students

Procedure:

1. Introduction (10 minutes):
- Begin the lesson by discussing the purpose of a review and its role in expressing opinions and providing information to others.
- Engage students in a conversation about their previous experiences at the zoo and their expectations for LA Zoo Lights.

2. Visit LA Zoo Lights (2-4 hours):
- Arrange transportation for students to visit LA Zoo Lights during the designated event period.
- Encourage students to take notes and observe various aspects of their experience, such as the lights display, animal exhibits, activities for kids, and overall enjoyment.

3. Review Writing Preparation (10 minutes):
- Instruct students to organize their notes and reflections from their visit to LA Zoo Lights.
- Guide them in identifying the main points they wish to address in their review, such as the visual appeal of the lights, the variety of activities for kids, the educational value, and overall satisfaction.

4. Writing Activity (25 minutes):
