In this playlist of 42 videos, Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings is summarized and analyzed chapter by chapter with additional discussions at the end.  Over the course of these short videos (all under 5 minutes), students will learn to cite textual evidence to support their analysis of the text’s explicit and inferred messages.  Students will also be provided with a deep analysis of the themes and central ideas and how they develop throughout the book.  Course Hero also provides free resources like study guides and infographics at the link below.
