Football, STUCO Food Drive Oct. 16-25

The football team and student council are teaming up for a food drive Oct. 16-25 that could end with a pie in the face of an assistant princpal.

The four grades will compete based on quantity (not weight) of food donated. The winner will be announced at the Oct. 27 pep rally where the winning class's president will get to throw a pie in the face of an assistant principal of choice.

The foods to donate by grade include
9th grade - canned fruits and vegetables
10th grade - boxed/packaged rice, potatoes, Hamburger Helper, etc.
11th grade - proteins such as canned tuna, canned chicken, Spam, peanut butter, dry beans
12th grade - packaged snacks such as granola bars, crackers, Cliff bars, protein bars, Goldfish, Kind bars.

Food also will be collected during the Pink Out football game Oct. 27.
