Lesson Plan: ⁣Double the Fun: Two Kids, One Epic Dare Adventure!
Grade Levels: 5-8

Objective:
- To engage students in an exciting and challenging dare adventure.
- To promote teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity in completing dares.
- To encourage students to step out of their comfort zones and build confidence.

- CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.5.1: Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions.
- CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.8.3: Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences.

Materials:
- List of dares (age-appropriate and safe)
- Timer or stopwatch
- Paper and pencils for reflection and discussion

Procedure:

1. Introduction (10 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by explaining the concept of the "Two Kids, One Epic Dare" adventure to the students.
- Discuss the importance of teamwork, communication, and creativity in successfully completing dares.

2. Dare Selection and Planning (15 minutes)
- Divide students into pairs and have them select a dare from the provided list.
- Instruct each pair to plan their approach and strategy for completing the dare.

3. Dare Challenges (30 minutes)
- Set a timer for each dare, giving pairs a specific time limit to complete their challenge.
- Encourage students to support and cheer on their classmates as they tackle their dares.
- Emphasize the importance of safety and following instructions during the challenges.

4. Reflection and Discussion (15 minutes)

5. Narrative Writing (20 minutes)
- Instruct students to write a narrative about their experience with the dare adventure, focusing on the challenges they faced, their emotions, and the lessons they learned.
- Encourage them to use descriptive details and clear event sequences to engage the reader.
