Grade Levels: 1-6

Objective:
- To engage students in a fun and interactive challenge that promotes focus, self-control, and resilience.

- To provide an opportunity for students to reflect on their ability to overcome challenges and persevere.

Materials:
- Dunk tank (or alternative water-based challenge)
- Unicorn mascot or costume
- Timer or stopwatch

Procedure:

1. Introduction (10 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by discussing the importance of focus, self-control, and perseverance when facing challenges.
- Introduce the concept of the "Immovable Challenge" and explain that students will be tested on their ability to stay put.

2. Setting Up the Challenge (15 minutes)
- Set up the dunk tank or alternative challenge, ensuring safety precautions are in place.
- Dress up a teacher or student as a unicorn to add excitement and engagement to the challenge.

3. Challenge Rules and Teams (10 minutes)
- Explain the challenge rules: Students will take turns sitting on the dunk tank seat or standing near the unicorn without moving for a specified amount of time.
- Divide students into teams, ensuring a mix of grade levels and abilities in each group.

4. The Immovable Challenge (30 minutes)
- Have each team select one participant to take on the challenge first.
- Start the timer and instruct the chosen student to sit on the dunk tank seat or stand near the unicorn without moving.
- Encourage teammates to cheer for their participant, offering support and motivation.

5. Reflection and Discussion (15 minutes)
- After each participant completes the challenge, gather the teams for a reflection discussion.
