Grade Level: K-5 (This lesson is suitable for elementary school students and can be adapted for subjects such as health education, life skills, or personal development.)

Objective: By the end of this lesson, students will understand the importance of self-care and learn practical strategies to take care of themselves. They will develop critical thinking skills, independence, and responsibility.

Materials:
- Handouts with the list of 5 ways to teach kids to take care of themselves
- Visual aids or props for each self-care strategy
- Chart paper or whiteboard for brainstorming and note-taking

Procedure:

1. Introduction (10 minutes):
- Engage students in a discussion about what it means to take care of oneself and why it is important.
- Ask students to share their thoughts on different aspects of self-care, such as physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
- Show visual aids or props representing self-care activities, such as a toothbrush for dental hygiene or a picture of a person doing yoga for relaxation.

2. Exploring the 5 Ways to Teach Kids to Take Care of Themselves (15 minutes):
