Objectives:
- Students will learn about Santa Fe Dam's Water Play Area and its importance in promoting outdoor physical activity and water conservation.
- Students will understand the science behind water play and its benefits for physical and mental health.
- Students will create an informative brochure or poster to promote Santa Fe Dam's Water Play Area.

Materials:
- Pictures or videos of Santa Fe Dam's Water Play Area
- Drawing paper or poster board
- Art supplies (markers, colored pencils, etc.)
- Optional: Computers or tablets with internet access for research

Procedure:

1. Introduction (10 minutes):

Cash only. Typically opened on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. Check website for any updates. There are four 90 min water play sessions: (1) 10:30am-12pm (2) 12:30-2pm (3) 2:30-4pm (4) 4:30-6pm. The splash pad is closed for 30 mins in between each session. ? Full detailed video in bio!? Check the weather before you go.???? Great place for families.?️ Park entrance fee is $12/vehicle. Cash or credit card. Park at Lot 5 for the splash pad. ?? We packed sunblock, towel, swim vest, goggles, sunglasses, snacks and water. ?? All guest must have swim attire to enter the water play area.? Flushable toilets right outside the splash pad. You may need to bring ur own toilet paper.? Portable hand wash from @suds2go .? There are few seating areas in the splash pad area. ? The park can get busy on the weekends so pls give urself enough time to get into the park. The front entrance was closed for us and was routed to the back entrance at 298 S Peckham Rd • The splash pad is first come first serve with capacity of 150 people per session. Be sure to arrive early • Children no taller than 52” allowed.
