- CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.1.2: Write informative/explanatory texts in which they name a topic, supply some facts about the topic, and provide some sense of closure.
- CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.2.2: Write informative/explanatory texts in which they introduce a topic, use facts and definitions to develop points, and provide a concluding statement or section.

Objectives:
- Students will learn about The New Children's Museum in San Diego.
- Students will identify and describe the unique features and attractions of the museum.
- Students will create an informative drawing or writing piece about The New Children's Museum.

Materials:
- Pictures, videos, or virtual tours of The New Children's Museum
- Drawing paper or writing notebooks
- Drawing utensils or writing utensils

Procedure:

1. Introduction (10 minutes):
- Begin the lesson by discussing the purpose of museums and their importance in preserving and showcasing art, culture, and education.
- Introduce The New Children's Museum in San Diego as a special museum designed specifically for children.

2. Virtual Tour or Visual Exploration (15 minutes):
- Show pictures, videos, or take a virtual tour of The New Children's Museum, highlighting various exhibits, interactive installations, and unique features.
- Encourage students to observe and discuss what they see, noting the different types of art and activities available.

3. Drawing or Writing Activity (25 minutes):
