Objective: Students will engage in hands-on activities and crafts related to Easter eggs to enhance creativity and fine motor skills.
Materials Needed:
- Plastic Easter eggs (assorted colors)
- Paints and brushes
- Glue, glitter, and other decorative materials
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Markers or crayons
- Writing materials for reflection
Procedure:
1. Introduction (10 minutes):
- Begin the lesson by discussing the tradition of Easter eggs and their significance in various cultures.
- Explain that Easter eggs often contain surprises or hidden treasures, leading to fun activities and crafts.
2. Egg Painting (20 minutes):
- Distribute plastic Easter eggs to each student.
- Instruct them to use paints and brushes to decorate the eggs with vibrant colors and patterns.
- Encourage creativity and provide guidance as needed.
3. Decorative Easter Eggs (20 minutes):
- Provide glue, glitter, and other decorative materials.
- Instruct students to embellish their painted Easter eggs with these materials to create unique designs.
- Encourage them to experiment with different textures and colors.
4. Easter Egg Collage (15 minutes):
- Provide construction paper, scissors, and glue.
