- Disposable gloves or hand sanitizers for cleanliness
- Paper towels or wet wipes for cleanup
Procedure:
1. Introduction (10 minutes):
- Engage students in a discussion about different states of matter, focusing on the properties of liquids and polymers.
- Introduce the concept of slime as a non-Newtonian fluid and its unique characteristics.
2. Unboxing Sensory Exploration (15 minutes):
- Show the students a visually appealing, unopened huge slime package.
- Discuss their predictions and excitement about what could be inside.
- Explain the importance of using their senses to explore and observe the different slimes and accessories.
3. Unboxing and Hands-on Play (30 minutes):
- Unbox the huge slime package in front of the students, showcasing the different types and textures of slime.
