Lesson Plan: Witness the Unbelievable: 10 Must-See Videos That Defy Explanation
Grade Level: 7-9
Objective: To critically analyze and evaluate videos that showcase extraordinary events, fostering media literacy, critical thinking, and skepticism while encouraging students to question and seek rational explanations for seemingly unbelievable phenomena.

- CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.7.8: Trace and evaluate the argument and specific claims in a text, assessing whether the reasoning is sound and the evidence is relevant and sufficient to support the claims.

Materials:
- Access to a curated collection of videos that depict extraordinary events (e.g., UFO sightings, supernatural occurrences, extreme sports, etc.)
- Worksheets for note-taking and reflection
- Devices with internet access for video viewing (optional)
Procedure:
1. Introduction (10 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by discussing the concept of skepticism and the importance of critical thinking when evaluating extraordinary claims or events.
- Ask students if they have ever seen videos that seemed unbelievable or defied explanation.
- Introduce the topic of 10 unbelievable videos that challenge our understanding and invite students to critically analyze and seek rational explanations.
2. Video Viewing and Note-Taking (30 minutes)
